ABOUT

I was first introduced to filmmaking back in high school in 2005 — in an era before YouTube, Facebook, and the rise of Social Media storytelling.

Where Sport, Travel and Storytelling meet.

Growing up between sport, travel, and creativity, storytelling through visuals became part of my life long before I ever thought of it as a career.

My journey with video started back in high school in Slovenia, when a few friends and I spent endless evenings filming and editing short movies on an old computer using Sony Vegas. We had no real equipment, no plan, and no idea where it might lead; only the excitement of creating something that felt alive.

A few years later, tennis took me to the United States, where I studied, competed, and experienced a completely different world. During that time, I started documenting my own journey with a borrowed camera; capturing not only the sport itself, but the atmosphere, emotion, energy, and moments around it. Without realizing it, that became the foundation of the way I still approach filmmaking today.

Over the years, life and work allowed me to combine several passions that continue to shape my perspective: sport, travel, people, movement, and authentic human moments.

Together with my wife Anja (@wildsandyfeet), the most talented photographer and my soulmate, who has been working with world-famous band One Republic, I spent years traveling through California, New York, Europe, and beyond; creating visual stories inspired by the places we explored and the people we met along the way. What started as curiosity slowly evolved into professional creative work with international hotels, resorts, tourism brands, sports organizations, and lifestyle clients.

Today, through Perfect Shot Media, I focus on creating cinematic and emotionally engaging visual content that feels real, dynamic, and human. My background in professional sport and coaching gives me a unique instinct for timing, emotion, movement, and storytelling under pressure; whether I’m filming athletes, destinations, events, or everyday moments that deserve to be remembered.

In recent years, my work has expanded into larger international sports and media environments, including NBA coverage (I interviewed the world’s biggest basketball star - Luka Doncic) and collaborations connected to global sporting events; experiences that continue to push my creative vision forward.

But at the core of everything, I still approach filmmaking the same way I did years ago as a kid editing videos with friends late into the night: chasing emotion, atmosphere, authenticity, and stories that make people feel something.

By 2019, I was already working with a growing number of international brands, tourism destinations, hotels, and lifestyle clients across the U.S. and Europe.
